Amanda Garrison, PhD
Certified clinical sexologist, based in France
I was born and raised in the United States and settled in France in 2015 to continue my education and career. I worked as an infectious disease epidemiologist in public health research, working on projects related to psychosocial determinants of health behaviors, sexually transmitted infections, child development and mental health, and postpartum depression. After working for several years, I decided to reorient myself towards a more clinical role and complete a certification as a clinical sexologist. My experience is primarily working with multicultural and multilingual couples and individuals living in France to improve their sexual experience and relationships.
I am also a trained Tantric Kundalini Yoga Instructor, and I use ancient Indian breathing, concentration, and meditation techniques to compliment my practice and enhance the mind-body connection of clients to improve their sexual experiences.
